| We strive at Treasured Haven Farm to give you the best value and farm experience for your investment and that goes beyond the contents of your weekly box! We truly want you to feel connected to the farm where your food is grown! We are an easy drive from the Twin Cities within an hour on I-35. Our regular summer season at Treasured Haven Farm is from Mid-June through Early to Mid-October, for 16 weeks to 18 weeks of produce including the fall harvest boxes, depending on the weather and field conditions. We are working to invest in crop tunnels to extend our season even further. We offer multiple share sizes so our members can find a fit for whatever their household size. We have weekly delivery, or every other week options that give members who also love selecting their choice of produce an option to be part of both a CSA and to patronize their local Farmer's Market on the opposite week. We set our goal to provide more than ample, excellent tasting, and quality naturally grown produce to fulfill your needs and do everything possible to minimize risks to our growing crops, however, risks are an inherent part of farming. We strive to give you the best amount you can utilize for the week but try not to overload you so things go to waste. If we do give you more than you or your family can use any given week, please freeze, preserve, or share with a friend, neighbor, or food shelf, or leave in our member exchange boxes. We do accept payment by check, or by PayPal, even without a PayPal Account. Our goal is to exceed your expectations in quality, quantity, value, and service!! We Hope You Will Join Us! Thank You from Everyone at Treasured Haven Farm! |

| Understanding Your Share Options: The right size for each household varies tremendously based upon the amount of produce consumed on average and personal tastes. The suggestions stated here are simply based upon member feedback. Make sure to read other info about CSAs, and Tips on Choosing a CSA found elsewhere on this website before making your decision. In general, we have found that a SMALL share is best for singles, and some couples. This size would be only a supplemental box of veggies for larger households. A LARGE share works well for a household of 2 adults with a couple children. Some single people and many couples also prefer the LARGE share because they love veggies, it allows them to freeze or can some food for the winter, and they love the greater variety. We now offer a BASIC Share for an additional option in the middle. If you can't decide, a Basic Share, either weekly, or every other week, is a great way to start! ***Please note that our regular weekly and every other week shares are not designed to be split between households (ex: it is hard to split one head of cabbage, a watermelon, large winter squash, or some items into two reasonable sized portions, etc.) We do have a New Bulk Option to share with groups, neighbors, family, and friends. What do I get in my share? ~ 35-40 different naturally grown vegetables/herbs of over 200 varieties throughout the season ~ A weekly share of freshly harvested & cooled produce, 16-18 week Regular Season. ~ Delivery to a Drop Site in your area on your scheduled day ~ Pick-Up On Farm can mix and match their produce from what is available that week ~ Pick-Your-Own cherry tomatoes, beans, peas, herbs, and pumpkins as available. ~ The amount of produce varies throughout the season. At the start of the season, the boxes will not be filled to the top, but by season's end they are stuffed with produce. The amount does vary week to week depending on the growing season each year. ***More info about other benefits and what crops are in your share is below... |

What best describes your preferred choice of veggies in your box? When there is a choice, top off my box with... Standard: Balance of all available veggies! I think of my box as a surprise present to open! I understand there will be a few unique items that may soon become a newfound favorite. Adventure: I like a variety and also love to experiment with new and unusual crops. I like to try exotics, oriental veggies, and unusual greens. Greens Lover: I like a variety of produce but I prefer all the greens I can get: leaf lettuce, beet greens, spinach, swiss chard, arugula, and more. If given a choice to get something extra in my box, make it Greens! Cabbage Lover: I like a variety, but I love cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, kale... Roots Lover: I like a variety, but if given the choice, I prefer the root crops: beets, carrots, onions, turnips, potatoes over things like greens. Squash Lover: I like the variety, but keep the summer and winter squash coming! |
