2010 Announcement!

The Chickens are making their return to Treasured Haven Farm!!!
The farm here for years was known as the destination for Farm Fresh Eggs. In fact, Peg
came to buy eggs from the farm here when just a teenager and had no idea that someday
that she and Pete would marry and have their own brood here on the same farm.

When our children were young and we were still had a full time Dairy operation, we
phased out of chickens when Pete's parents moved from the farm. In 2010, at the strong
urging of the Johnson sons, Zach and Ike, the chickens are once again returning to the
farm in a grand fashion. Not only will there be Farm Fresh Eggs again, they will now be
grown in a free range pastoral setting, but the farm will also be adding pastured farm fresh
meat chickens and turkeys in addition to the goats, sheep, beef, and pigs!
We raise our larger animals on a pre-order basis.

We are now creating a list of interested share members for this seasons turkeys,
chickens, and this year mid-summer, fall, winter season eggs.  We would love your input
for other meat. Prices, details, and quantities available are currently being determined.
Meat Shares are totally separate from our Summer Veggie Shares.

have a last minute availability where we will send an email blast and it will be
available on a first response basis. We are working on current pricing for 2010
