| Free Range Goat Limited Numbers Available! We raise Top Quality Market Goats currently available for delivery to the local meat processing plant. (2007 MN State Fair 4-H Purple and Blue Ribbon Animals) Our goats are naturally raised, free-range grass and alfalfa fed for high quality, low fat meat. We use no artificial feed additives or chemicals on our hay that the goats eat. This is a great alternative, healthy choice of meat and makes mighty good sausage as well. Meat from goats is low in fat. A 100-gram (3 1/2 ounces) serving of cooked, roasted meat contains: 143 calories; 27 grams protein; 3 grams fat; 3.7 milligrams iron; 86 milligrams sodium; and 75 milligrams cholesterol. | Grass Fed Dairy Beef UPDATE: Next Processing Summer-Fall 2012 Call for Availability! We raise a select number of grass fed dairy animals for a leaner alternative to feed lot, corn raised, beef. Taste the difference with grass fed. Our animals only eat naturally raised hay grown on our own farm. We sell by the hanging weight of the animal. Otherwise,we can also obtain Quality Raised Pigs for you when we have combined orders in quantities of four or more, year round as available from another local farmer. | Do YOU know where the meat YOU put on YOUR plate comes from? We raise naturally grass-fed meat for your table! As we expand our vegetable growing, we are cutting back on the amount of larger livestock we raise directly on our farm. This is a security measure to prevent any unexpected loss from animals trespassing in the vegetable gardens. ; ) We will continue to have animals for farm visits, and actually are looking to get many other species so we have a whole barnyard of variety for our members to see when they visit.
