Treasured Haven Farm hosted our first 5K Trail Run, known as the Veggie Run, on August 14, 2010! Come celebrate summer by running our 5K and 1/2 Marathon Trail Run courses through the woods and near all the fresh veggies growing in the gardens! 5K and 1/2 Marathon - These courses travel through the woodeed trails, fields, grasslands, and hills on Treasured Haven Farm. The courses traverse a wide variety of terrain including one to two severe and moderate hills to gently rolling and flatter open areas. 1 Mile Fun Run -For those that want a more laid back ruun, we've developed this course that is a bit flatter than the longer courses but still provides scenic views. Kid Fun Runs (200 m Toddler Trot and Diaper Dash) - For the kids that want to run just like the adults, they can participate in a 200m Toddler Trot or a short Diaper Dash. The Toddler Trot is designed for ages 4 and under. The Diaper Dash is designed for children under the age of 2. Water Stops In order to maintain a green race, we will not have traditional water stations. There will be no water stations in the 5K unless it is unseasonable warm. The 1/2 marathon will have a handful of water stations. We will have jugs of water and water bottles available but it is encouraged you bring water with you. Since this is a working farm, please do not dispose of water bottles along the course. You can leave any bottles at any of the water stations.
